Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By using BonPrijs (the “Service”) you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service. We may update these Terms occasionally; we'll show you the new version in the app, and continued use means you accept the update.

2. What BonPrijs is

BonPrijs is a community price-comparison app for groceries in Aruba. Users submit prices they observe at supermarkets, and the community helps verify them. We are not a retailer and do not sell products directly.

3. Your account

You need to be at least 16 to use BonPrijs. Keep your sign-in details secure. You're responsible for activity under your account. Don't share it.

4. Prices and accuracy

Prices in BonPrijs are submitted by community members. We make a reasonable effort to moderate submissions but cannot guarantee accuracy. Always verify the actual price at the store before purchase. Stores may change prices at any time.

5. Your submissions

When you submit a price, product, or photo to BonPrijs you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, store, and use that content within the Service. You confirm you have the right to share the content and that it doesn't infringe on anyone else's rights. We reserve the right to remove or modify any submission that violates these Terms or applicable law.

6. Rewards and points

Points earned through BonPrijs (for submitting prices, verifying, etc.) are promotional and have no monetary value. Rewards in the catalog are subject to availability and may be discontinued. We may adjust point values, expiry, or eligibility at any time. Fraudulent activity (fake submissions, duplicate accounts, gaming the leaderboard) may result in points being reset or accounts being suspended.

7. Business accounts

Verified supermarket owners may apply for a business account. Business accounts are subject to a separate paid subscription. Business owners are responsible for the accuracy of prices they submit and the integrity of any promotions or vouchers they create. We reserve the right to suspend any business account that misrepresents their store or violates these Terms.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to: spam other users, submit false prices, scrape the Service in automated ways without permission, attempt to access other users' accounts, or use BonPrijs for any illegal purpose. We may suspend accounts that violate this section.

9. Disclaimer

BonPrijs is provided “as is.” We don't guarantee uninterrupted service or that information shown is always accurate. To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from use of the Service, including missed savings due to incorrect prices.

10. Termination

You can delete your account at any time by contacting us at privacy@bonprijs.app. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Aruba. Any disputes will be handled by the courts of Aruba.
